The Euphoria Smoothie

You should see them now, dancing around the kitchen dancing to Portugal The Man eating Jersey Mike’s sandwiches while the dog barks – wishing and hoping someone will drop part of one of said sandwiches. Nina (7 year old twin) has attitude because she doesn’t want to do homework, while Noah (the other 7 year old twin is focused on creating his at home graffiti art on our kitchen floor. Wide eyed emoji. Sigh. (so much for the Euphoria, but this smoothie still rocks). Anyway here’s the recipe:

  • 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
  • handful raw spinach
  • 1/2 cold avocado
  • 1/2 cup frozen avocado
  • 1 tbsp raw manuka honey
  • 1 tsp chlorella powder from (tons of plant protein. and amino acids, chlorophyll, antioxidants, you name it)
  • 1/2 tsp mucuna pruriens (that is what helps with my Euphoria, since it’s the dopamine bean – yes!!)
  • blend to oblivion and top with a tbsp of probiotic dairy free coconut yogurt from
